The SCORBOT-ER IX ACL type B
controller was designed with the most demanding cell control requirements
of a robot and its environment. It has two RS232 communication channels
(expandable to 10) and one bi-directional parallel port. Its Motorola
68020 CPU provides multitasking of up to 20 programs, allowing real-time
sensor and external input monitoring and response. A Motorola MC68881
floating point math co-processor adds computational power for speedy path
and trajectory calculations. The controller is equipped with with 6 DC
servo axes (expandable to 12 - optional). The 16 inputs and 16
outputs provide extensive digital communication and external machine
synchronization.
The SCORBOT-ER IX basic
configuration includes the five axis robot arm, controller, software with
two programming environments, and extensive documentation. Optional
accessories include a powerful teach pendant, various grippers, linear
slidebase, machine vision system and more...
